Eidogen-Sertanty Releases iProtein - Target Informatics on the iPad
San Diego, CA (August 12, 2010) - Eidogen-Sertanty, Inc., a San Diego-based computational drug discovery solutions provider, announced today the release of iProtein, the first target informatics app available on the iPad. iProtein enables access to the world's largest repository of protein structures and models found in Eidogen-Sertanty's Target Informatics Platform (TIP).
TIP amplifies the rapidly expanding body of experimental protein structural information found in the Protein Data Bank by generating high accuracy protein structural models across sequences found in Swiss-Prot, RefSeq, Ensembl, IPI, etc. Through iProtein, users can use the iPad's touch interface to interrogate the proteome by Sequence, Structure/Model, Site, Protein Family, and by co-complexed ligand structures.
iProtein for the iPad enhances the growing suite of Eidogen-Sertanty's iPhone and iPad applications which include iKinase, iKinasePro, iKinasePro for iOS4 (iPhone), and alternative medicine related apps iYoga108 and iYoga108 for the iPhone.
